ided riveting stories for those who appreciate his feisty personality. Ben joined the U.S. Army in 1954. Ben's journey included two marriages and an eventual blended family. Ben married his first wife and moved to Metuchen, NJ where they shared a two-family home with his parents, and raised their children, Cindy and Benny. His life's journey took turns which led him to marry Elena, and embrace raising small children once again. Ben, with ever-selfless love and commitment, also embraced Elena's two daughters, Kelly and Kimberly. At the age of 50, Ben added to his legacy by having another son, Andrew. Together with Elena, Ben created the "his, hers, and ours" family, which brought him joy and pride for so many years. Prior to retiring, Ben could be found knowledgeably responding to customer questions about almost any material, tool, or technique in the aisles of Home Depot. He was a man who never shied away from figuring out how to repair, locate, or problem solve, and these characteristics, along with his smile and punch line, made him a well-loved colleague and associate. When not working, Ben enjoyed reading books by David Balducci, socializing with his friends at the Italian American Club, dining out, gardening with a green thumb, watching the Boston Red Sox and New York Giants, keeping up with global news, listening to Andrea Bocelli (or Gloria Estefan in his younger years), and challenging his grandkids to arm wrestles with a "punch in the nose". Ben faced his recent health adversities in the same manner he faced life, with unfathomable strength, resilience, positivity, and unwavering faith in God. His passing leaves those who loved him with sadness, but also with unforgettable memories.
