ited Nations Service. Don worked for Natural Gas Pipeline and was a senior line foreman when he retired. Don raised large vegetable gardens and enjoyed the produce of his labor. He enjoyed traveling, adding to his coin collection and attending antique tractor shows. Don enjoyed learning about and sharing local area history stories and memories. Don had been a member of the Malvern Volunteer Fire Department, and an active member of the Harry Hammons Legion Post 520 in Malvern, and served on the boards of the Liberty Memorial Building and the Malvern Historical Society. Don was preceded in death by his parents; and sister Nancy Irvin. Don is survived by his children, Theresa Hebb of Kansas, Don Jones Jr of Shenandoah, IA, Randy Jones of Glenwood, IA, David Jones of Missouri Valley, IA, and Sherry Bacon of Iowa; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren; brothers, Harold Jones and wife Delores of Malvern, and Bob Jones and wife Dorothy of Gardendale, AL; sisters, Janet Donelson of Calamus, IA, and Marie Donelson and husband Jim of Davenport, IA, and all their families; other relatives; and many special friends.
