Mark O. Gasperini

EAST BRUNSWICK - MARK O. GASPERINI passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at John F. Kennedy Medical Center in Edison. He was 72 years old. Born in Orange to Oreste and Rose (née Aurigemma) Gasperini, he grew up in Livingston, then he lived in Verona before settling down in East Brunswick for the last 36 years. Mark received his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Salem University in West Virginia. Prior to retiring in 1998, he was a Detective for Essex County Prosecutor's Office for 25 years. After leaving the Prosecutor's Office, Mark worked at ADP in Jamesburg, NJ until he retired for good in 2016. In his spare time, he enjoyed reading, spending time with his family and most recently traveling. Mark is predeceased by his parents, Oreste and Rose Gasperini; his mother-in-law, Eleonor Clayton; and his brother-in-law, Frank Haller. Surviving are his wife of 36 years, Robin Haller-Gasperini of East Brunswick; his son, Christopher Gasperini and his fiancée, Kate Scott, of Philadelphia; his brother, Steven Gasperini and his wife, Christine, of Evans, GA; and his sister, Nancy Sedges and her husband, Joseph, of Knoxville, TN. Monday, January 8, 2024, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, and 7:00 to 9:00 pm, at The BRUNSWICK MEMORIAL HOME, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, NJ. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at 8:45 am, at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am, at St. Bartholomew's Roman Catholic Church, 470 Ryders Lane, East Brunswick, NJ.
