MONROE TOWNSHIP - RONALD ANDERSON passed away on January 2nd, 2024, at New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York, New York. He was 78. Born in Staten Island, New York, he spent his early years living in Staten Island then raised his family in East Brunswick, New Jersey before retiring in Monroe Township, New Jersey. Ronald was the father of three and the grandfather of three. He was a brilliant yet humble man who was devoted to his family. He was a magician with tools as he could fix or repair just about anything broken. He was an exceptional mathematician that could still shock his granddaughters with his math skills even at 78. As a teenager, Ronald worked at Bennett's Bicycle Shop where he took pride in his work building and repairing bicycles. As an adult, he repaired and rebuilt cars with the same level of pride, as there was no automotive job he wouldn't tackle on his own. He loved seeing and talking about old Fords that he owned throughout his lifetime. Ronald worked for Con Edison for over 35 years. ng time with his grandchildren. Ron will be reunited with his father, William Anderson and his mother, Lillian Anderson; as well as his brother, Peter Anderson. Surviving are his wife of nearly 57 years, Ellen Anderson; his brother, Mark Anderson with wife, Laurie, of Freehold; as well as his three children, Paul Anderson of Chesapeake Virginia, Steve Anderson with wife, Ann, of East Brunswick, and Robyn Pistilli with husband, Scott, of East Brunswick. He is also the grandfather of Kelsey Anderson, Delaney Anderson and Katie Pistilli. He is loved by all of his children and grandchildren and will truly be missed. Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm or 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at The BRUNSWICK MEMORIAL HOME, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, NJ. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at 9:30 am, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick.
