In Loving Memory of Stephen Nason
Stephen Nason passed away peacefully on February 1, 2024, at the age of 71. Born on April 10, 1952, in Vernal, Utah, to Mary and Joseph Nason in New York, New York. Stephen married Lorraine Aiello Baker on July 14, 2010.
Stephen was known for his exceptional achievements and love for adventure. Stephen's passion for skiing led him to become a judge at the 2002 Winter Olympics. He was fascinated by the sport and even appeared in several renowned Warren Miller documentaries, which played a significant role in popularizing extreme skiing. In his younger years, Stephen showcased his strength and determination as an undefeated Golden Glove boxer.
A graduate of the University of Utah with a bachelor's degree in science, Stephen pursued his academic endeavors alongside his adventurous spirit. His dedication and enthusiasm were admired by all who knew him.
In accordance with Stephen's wishes, his body was donated for the advancement of medical research and education. This selfless act reflects his lifelong pursuit of knowledge and his desire to make a difference even after his passing.[more]
