Edward R. Simpson, DSFC #4340 "Silver Fox" passed away on February 24, 2024, of Deptford, NJ. Age 67. Beloved husband of Gigi Simpson (nee Rickenbach). Devoted father of Nicole Pensiero (Connor). Adoring PopPop of Gemma and Isla. Dear brother of the late Billy and Darlene. Faithful companion and best friend of Murphy. Endeared brother-in-law of Ruthann DelTito (Joe), Lee Robberson (Gary), Jill Jakubowski (Jim) and the late Eddie (Amy). Son in law of Ruth Rickenbach and the late Edward. He is predeceased by his parents, Edward and Marian Simpson. Fox started his career in law enforcement working 8 years at the Burlington Township Police Department before serving his 25 year career as a New Jersey State Trooper. After retirement, he worked as a security guard for the Phillies until working as an Administrative Officer for Corporate Services with the Norcross family and Connor, Stong & Buckelew. He enjoyed being a member of the Oneida Boat Club and Roma Club. He loved spending time in N.
