Eleanor R. Kapraun

Eleanor R. Kapraun, of Pickerel and Valrico, Florida, died on February 26, 2024. She was 97 years old. She was born on September 9, 1926 in Magnolia, Illinois, a daughter of Alden and Margaret (Bonnin) Dunn. She married Joseph Kapraun on December 29, 1945. He preceded her in death on October 27, 2009. Survivors include her four children, John (Mary) Kapraun of Burkburnett, Texas, Jeanette Stair of St. Petersburg, Florida, Debra (James) Shannon of Pickerel, and Sharon Clime of Riverview, Florida; six grandchildren, Victoria, Christopher, Jamie, Shane, Amanda, and Jordan; 12 great-grandchildren, Brandon, Hunter, Matthew, Abigail, Dylan, Lane, Michelle, Josie, Marissa, Hayden, Holden, and Wren; and great-great grandchild, Kash. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Justin Stair; and sisters, Carrie (Lawrence) Bickerman and Imelda (Wally) Smith.
