Daniel Jones, 75, of Glenwood, IA, passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at the Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs, IA. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at the Loess Hills Funeral and Cremation Center in Glenwood with Pastor Ken Demlow officiating. Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Loess Hills Funeral and Cremation Center in Glenwood is caring for Daniel and his family. Memorials: Directed to the family Daniel Eldin Jones one of three children of George and Helen (Watts) Jones was born on August 27, 1948 in Brazil, IN. Following graduation he was drafted and served with the United States Army. On January 17, 1970 he married Karen Wilson in Burlington, IA. The couple was blessed with three sons, Greg, David, and Aaron. He worked for the United States Postal Service in Omaha until his retirement. Daniel is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Karen of Glenwood; sons, Greg Jones and wife Kelly of Clarinda, IA, David Jones and girlfriend Tabitha Pirtle of Waynesville, MO, and Aaron Jones and wife Gina of Council Bluffs, IA; grandchildren, Lauren Guillou-Jones and husband Sam, Olivia Eitmann and husband Elijah, Ethan Jones, Isaac Jones and Andrew Jones; sister Mary Jane Fox and husband Steve of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; many nieces, nephews, relatives and a host of many special friends.
