Ray Roggenbuck, of Aniwa, died on February 28, 2024 at Aspirus Langlade Hospital. He was 74 years old. He was born on September 2, 1949 in Gleason, a son of Werner and Rosetta (Drew) Roggenbuck. He married Dawn Packard on September 23, 1995 at St. Stephens Lutheran Church in Merrill.
He was a graduate of Merrill High School. He served in the United States Navy. Ray worked a majority of his life as a cross-country semi truck driver. He most recently worked for Elite Carriers in Merrill until his retirement in 2021.
Ray enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, hunting, and camping. He was an animal lover and spoiled his five dogs, Easter Lily, Daisy Mae, Sophia, Clyde and Leela; and cat, Sarah Lee.
Survivors including his wife of 28 years, Dawn Roggenbuck of Aniwa; daughter, Amanda (Trevor) Mildenberger of Merrill; son, Werner (Vanessa) Roggenbuck of Oshkosh; step-son, Travis Arrowood of Antigo; five grandchildren, Dominnic Fillmore, Jeffrey Fillmore, Mykal Roggenbuck, Noah Roggenbuck, and Ayla Roggenbuck; sisters, Susie (Greg) Latzig and Cheryl Ritchie; brothers, Norman Roggenbuck, Robert Roggenbuck, and Gary (Marge) Roggenbuck; and mother-in-law, Rose Packard...[more]

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Debbie Brandt; brothers-in-law, Biff Brandt and Dwight Ritchie; and sister-in-law, Debbie Roggenbuck.
A celebration of life will be held in the summer.
