He was the recipient of the Melvin Jones Award, the highest honor you can receive as a Lion's member. Marlow also volunteered to deliver Meals on Wheels for over 20 years. In his younger years, he enjoyed hockey, having been on the first city hockey team in 1950. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and in his later years, he loved golfing, getting a hole-in-one at the age of 85. Survivors include many distant relatives, nieces, nephews, close friends, and caregivers. In addition to his parents and wife, Marlow was preceded in death by his sister, Mildred (Harley) Cary; and brother, Ruben (Lenore) Strehlow. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 26 at 11 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church with Rev. David Karolus officiating. Burial with Military Honors will take place in Elmwood Cemetery, Antigo. Visitation will be Monday, March 25 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home and Tuesday, March 26 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at church.
