His carefree side was reserved for his children and their friends, especially the Seagles Swim Team gang at Boston College. After completing all carpool duties, he took up golf and enjoyed a retirement spent with old and new friends on the links, attending his grandson's many school and sports events, and traveling with friends and family. Kevin is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Carol; his daughter Maura and her husband Jeffrey Sklarz, of Barrington, RI; his son Kevin and his partner Katherine Pacia, of Charlestown, MA; and his beloved grandson Edward "Ted" Sklarz of Providence, RI. He loved to laugh and enjoyed all gatherings with his brothers and their families: John (deceased) and Denise FitzPatrick of Billerica, MA; Brendon and Kathleen FitzPatrick of Jamaica Plain, MA; Dermot and Mary Francis (deceased) FitzPatrick of Falmouth, MA; and Ronan and Mary FitzPatrick of Charlestown, MA. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at 10:00 am at St. Mary of the Bay, 645 Main Street, Warren, RI. Burial to follow in North Burial Ground, Bristol, RI.
