Survivors include a daughter, Barbara (Joe) Kostyn of Mosinee; two sons, William (Jackie) Meyer of Tomahawk and Don (Rachael) Meyer of Mosinee; six grandchildren, Ben (Winter) Kostyn, Corbin (Mikaela) Kostyn, Billie (Jon) Nyberg, Hanna Meyer, Sophie Meyer and Sierra Meyer; four great-grandchildren, Jackson and Ruby Kostyn and Molly and Chloe Kostyn; a sister-in-law, Lucy Meyer of Antigo; and brother-in-law, John Petroski of Maplewood, MN. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Blanche Wyrwas and Charlotte Heinrich; six brothers, Ruben, Omer, Mello, Francis, John, and Joseph Meyer in infancy. A memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 9 at 11:30 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church with the Very Reverend Joel Sember officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the church in Hoffmann Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Herb's name may be directed to the Langlade County Humane Society, 2204 Clermont St. Antigo, WI 54409.
