Pete F Derkotch

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Pete F. Derkotch, Jr. (Petee) on April 30, 2024, at 74 years of age. Pete passed away peacefully with family by his side. He will be lovingly remembered by his sisters Linda (Leonard) Gigliobianco and Jayne (Richard) Fedore; nieces and nephews John (Lana) Placyk, Jr., Michael (Cristina) Placyk, Peter Placyk; Richard Fedore, Jr., Melissa (Richard) Mandis, and Cecilia (Robert) Wentworth. Also, his great nieces and nephews Willa, John E., Petal Placyk, Michael Anthony Placyk, and Lillian Mandis. He will be deeply missed by his buddy, Caleb. Pete was predeceased by his parents Peter and Virginia Derkotch, his love and long-time companion, Susan Placyk and their cat Dottie. Pete was a graduate of Camden County College. He was self-employed for many years as a carpet installer and co-owner of a carpet store. From there he worked for Home Depot where he retired to take care of his ailing parents.
