Edward A. McDermott, on May 19, 2024, of Runnemede, NJ. Age 99. Beloved husband of the late Doris L. McDermott (nee Bartling). Devoted father of Doris (George), James (Olive), Patrick (the late Rosa), Sherry (Gary) and the late Edward. Father-in-law of Sally. Cherished grandfather of Edward, Thomas, Danny, George, Linda, Mary Ann, Patrick (Anna), Steven (Erica), Matthew, Kayla. Adoring great grandfather of Alexandra, Rodger, Mackenzie, Zariah, Giovanni, Andi, Maverick, Leon. Edward retired from his career as an engine rebuilder with Runnemede Truck Refrigeration. He was involved with several clubs after he retired: Church Bingo at Holy Child Parish, American Legion Post# 286, and Runnemede Seniors Club. Aside from bingo at Holy Child Parish he was very active in the parish. Edward was known for being a Jack-of-All-Trades and had the ability to fix anything. There will be a viewing from 8:15am to 9:15am on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Funeral Mass at Holy Child Parish, St. Maria Goretti Church.
