Andrew J. Chester

Andrew (Drew) James Chester Passed peacefully at home on May 25, 2024. Born on February 9, 1951 to Andrew Chester and Dorothy McKay. He was preceded in death by both his parents and his sisters Christine Heaton, Marylin Himes. Survived by his wife of 51 years Frances (Marim) Chester, His sons, Joseph (Eva) and William (Shelly) and his grandchildren, Connor, Maggie, Cole, Jacob, and Brooke. Also survived by his sister Dottie Winkler (Fran), his sister in law Maragret O'Toole (Doug), his nieces Kelly Moulton (Jason), and Nicole Riberdy (Chris), and many great nieces and nephews. Drew graduated from Sharon Hill 1970. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam era. In 1973 he married the love of his life Frances, and went on to raise his 2 sons. Drew earned his degree in textiles from Rutgers. He worked for the US DOD for 44 years. Drew was a diehard Eagles and Phillies fan. When either team would struggle to win you could hear his infamous line "warm up the bus". He enjoyed visiting the Poconos and the Jersey shore.
