Thomas "Tom" Lee Tuttle

Thomas "Tom" Lee Tuttle, 86, of Peru, Iowa passed away Sunday June 9, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Tom was born July 16, 1937 to Charles Tuttle and Margaret (Guion) Tuttle in Crocker, Iowa and attended Lorimor High School where he met the love of his life, Donna (Austin) Tuttle. They married July 10, 1956 and had two children together, Rick and Terri. He worked as a salesman most of his life with Wonder Bread and Little Debbie. Tom enjoyed going fishing in Canada every year, which has been a family tradition for generations. He also enjoyed hunting, playing card games and cheering for the Green Bay Packers. After retirement, he and Donna enjoyed traveling in their RV and spent many winters at J5 RV Park in Mission, Texas. During their 23 years there, he served on the recreation committee and also served as manager. Also left to cherish his memory is Cindy (Tuttle) Scharlau and several special nieces and nephews. Tom is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Teresa "Terri" Wilmes; brothers: Charlie Tuttle, George Tuttle, Larry Tuttle, Paul Tuttle, John Tuttle, Melvin Tuttle, and Kelvin Tuttle; and sister Blanche Dykes.
