Janice (Walker) Hartley

Janice Lynette (Walker) Hartley, 48, passed away during the early morning hours of August 7, 2024, while at the Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis. She was born in Olney, Illinois, October 7, 1975, to Morris A. and Wanda June (McClelland) Walker. She was engaged to Gary Shoulders of Lawrenceville, Illinois. Janice attended Olney Central College where she studied nursing. She was employed as a CNA at the Aperion Nursing Home in Bridgeport, Illinois. Known to be a wonderful cook, Janice prepared family favorites such as sweet and sour chicken and sweet potato casserole. She enjoyed landscaping; growing flowers and going to demolition derbies; but, she was happiest when she was spending time with her grandchildren. Those who now mourn Janice's passing include her sons, Kevin (Kaylee) Walker of Bicknell; Daniel Nash of Lawrenceville, Illinois; and Dylan (Camilla Risley) Dunkin of Lawrenceville, Illinois; and her fiancé, Gary Shoulders of Lawrenceville, Illinois.
