January 21, 1933, to Gaetano & Angelina Pignato. From the early days his journey began with a paper route, a small step that would eventually lead him to "Cappy's Home Improvement," installing windows, doors, and awnings. Over time, his business grew, blossoming into "Cappy & Sons Home Improvement," a testament to his family's dedication and his entrepreneurial spirit. Before he became a successful entrepreneur, he served his country as an Army veteran of the Korean War. Beyond his professional endeavors, Casper was a passionate sports enthusiast. He'd played football in high school, and his love for the game continued as he watched his sons excel in their football careers. From Pop Warner to college, Casper was a fixture in the stands, never missing a game. In his later years, he discovered a new passion: golf. His powerful swing and love for the sport became a source of joy and relaxation. After retiring from the Rochester Fire Department, Casper traded the snowy winters of New York for the sunny skies of Florida. There, he spent his days fishing, tending to his home, and of course, golfing. The sunshine, the tranquility, and the opportunity to pursue his hobbies brought him great satisfaction. Casper was a proud father and grandfather. He beamed with joy as he watched his six sons and fifteen grandchildren grow and succeed. His seven great-grandchildren were the latest chapter in his family's story. When people told him, "All of this began with you," his heart swelled with pride. He knew that his hard work, dedication, and love for his family had created a lasting legacy that would continue to inspire generations to come.
