and cousins, Franci and Cam. She was loved by her teaching team and special friends Tash and Juni, Tracie, Kristen, Deb, and so many others. Jillian loved her favorite pup, Ellie. Jillian was born March 2, 1995, and raised in a home full of love with her parents, siblings, and grandparents. She was the baby of the family and her siblings were immediately smitten with her and loved her with all their hearts. She was an avid cheerleader in all definitions of the word from Hilton Raiders, Hilton Varsity, and to all her friends and family. Jillian was always ready with a kind smile, a plan of action, an organized binder, and dessert. One of Jillian's goals was to pet every good dog, they're all good dogs, but she reserved the most love and pets for her Ellie. Jillian loved education, including her own. She graduated from Hilton High School in 2013, completed her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish at St. John Fisher University in 2017, and her Master of Science in Education at Nazareth College in 2019. Her life of good works included years of volunteering with the Teddi Dance for Love, and most recently with Fairy Godmothers of Rochester. She was a voracious reader and was raised to love a library, a good book, and learning new things. Jillian was a fashionista and loved colors-especially pink, polka dots, and bows, and she could find a way to create a new outfit from anything. She and her sister Chloe had an uncanny ability to find the same item of clothing no matter how far away from one another they were. Jillian loved to travel and had hoped to see the world. She studied abroad at the Universidad de Salamanca in Spain and traveled throughout Europe. Closer to home, she loved a road trip, especially to Disney World and to visit family and friends. Jillian loved trying new foods and cooking new things, instilled in her by her big brother, Zach. She was an avid collector of new recipes online but also making traditional family recipes from her parents and grandparents. Jillian was a passionate teacher in the Greece Central community as an English as a New Language educator. She was a fierce advocate for her students even after they left her classroom. She never tired of fighting for the right thing. She was so proud to play a significant role in the Greece Central community especially with her team of co-educators. Her colleagues remember her as a vibrant and positive presence at Greece Olympia where she taught the Newcomer Program with genuine care for her students and their families. Jillian was so excited to marry Chris in December 2024, a winter wedding with pine trees, snowflakes, and so many bows. They were so excited to share their joy in each other with their friends and family. A celebration of Jillian's life and love will be held from 3:00-7:00 pm on Wednesday, September 11th at Bartolomeo & Perotto Funeral Home at 1411 Vintage Lane. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jillian's name to Greece Olympia High School, St. John Fisher College or a charity of your choice. Love. Amor. Lanmou. Amour. Miłość.
