He loved the outdoors, was the ultimate Milwaukee Brewer fan, enjoyed reading westerns, and was an avid bowler, who proudly wore his 300 game ring for special occasions. In his earlier years he enjoyed hunting with family and friends. He also played softball on the Allen Bradley Company team. Survivors include his wife, Linda; two children, Alan (Renee) Wissbroecker, Jr and Krissy Wissbroecker; five grandchildren, Travis (Tylynn Murray), Josh (Katie), Jordon, Jade, and Sean Wissbroecker; three great-grandchildren, Remington, Ronan, and Elizabeth; grand-kitties, Mazi and Gabriella; and grand-bunny, Cassidy. He is also survived by siblings, Marlene (Keith) Priem, Rollie (Tonya) Wissbroecker, Hermy (Patty) Wissbroecker, Jeanne (Dennis) Dunham, Betty (Dave) Roder, Linda (Leon) Buck, Dale (Paula) Wissbroecker, Boyd (Trish) Wissbroecker, Nancy (Al) Partlo, Vera (Todd) Visser; sisters-in-law, Linda Wissbroecker and Lori (Rick) Guetschow; nieces, nephew, and cousins. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Virginia Austreng; a brother, Jerry Wissbroecker; brother-in-law, Stephen Makarevictz; and a sister-in-law, Debra Wilson. A funeral service will be held at Arbutus Lutheran Church in Pickerel on September 21, at 2 PM with Chaplain James Hartleben officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 12 PM to 2 PM. Burial with Military Honors will take place at Pearson Cemetery following the service. Alan had an unwavering love and loyalty to his family. This love will live on in all of us that were blessed to have Alan in our lives.
