Jerry Fahrenkrug 66 of Newton, Ia passed away on November 1,2024 at home with his family by his side. Born May 29,1958 in Keosauqua,Ia. Jerry grew up in the Marshalltown area. Jerry worked over two decades at Thombert, Inc in Newton, Ia retiring in 2021. Jerry's passion was to go to auctions and thrifting. He had a love for hunting and fishing, watching NASCAR, Iowa Hawkeyes football and basketball, and the Indiana Fever. Jerry never met a stranger and was able to have a conversation with anyone he met. His biggest joys were his children and grandchildren. He always had fun spending time with them and really was looking forward to doing things with his great granddaughter. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 42 years Sue. Daughter Jeri of Newton, sons Justin (Chelsea) of Colorado, Joshua (Heather) of Newton. Grandchildren Kegan (Madi) of Knoxville, Alyssa, Baie, Statham and Killian of Newton. Great granddaughter Harper of Knoxville. Sister Jody (Jim) Weigand of Marshalltown, Sister in laws Kim (Mike) Ladehoff of Marshalltown, Rhonda (Wes) Pope of Kansas, brother-in-law Rob Chambers of Florida. Many nieces and nephews.
