John Clark

John Clark, 88 passed away on October 13, 2024. Born on December 23, 1935, John graduated from Oakland High School, then attended the University of Nebraska, graduating with a degree in Agronomy. While in Lincoln, he met Jan Montgomery, they married on June 12, 1959. He worked for Elanco Products Company and Dow Chemical for 32 years, retiring as a district sales representative. John loved to travel and was an avid fisherman, hunter, and photographer. Later in life, he took up the craft of making stained glass objects. He was an active member of the Presbyterian church, where he was an Elder, Trustee, and Deacon. He is survived by his loving wife, Jan Clark; children Karen (Mike) Mc Carten, Montgomery (Julia) Clark, and Alison (Pat) Goldsmith; sister Julie Wells, sister Alice (Bill) Artherholt; 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, and 5 nieces and nephews. John was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Ora Clark, infant sister Joan Clark, and brother-in-law Gordon Wells.
