Patricia Lee Grafton

Patricia "Patty" Lee Grafton was born on November 15, 1947, to Clifford and Francis (Sabin) Smith in Des Moines, Iowa. She attended school and graduated from the Des Moines Public School System. Patty worked for the Des Moines Public School System as a food service worker. She was passionate about her work and enjoyed working with the students every day. When Patty was not working, she loved spending time with her family and animals. She liked to go camping and fishing whenever she had the chance. Patty Grafton passed away on January 16, 2025, in Altoona, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Francis; sister, Audry and brother Clifford. Patty's memory will forever be cherished by her husband, Mike Grafton; son, Roger Gilliland; grandchildren, Nathan, Skylee, Matthew, Justin, Alexis and Michael Jr.; along with a host of extended family and friends.
