Della Marie Boers

Della Marie Boers, of Antigo, died on January 29, 2025 at her home under the care of LeRoyer Hospice, her granddaughter, Rebecca and great-granddaughter, Kaitlynn. She was 84 years old. She was born on November 19, 1940 in Antigo, a daughter Charles Jackson and Dama Johnson. Della was a graduate of Bayfield High School in Milwaukee. She went to Beauty School in Milwaukee and owned a salon with her mother before moving to Antigo. She was a loving and devoted wife to Jack Boers, who she married on November 2, 1974 at Peace Lutheran Church in Antigo, he preceded her in death on May 7, 2022. Della was employed at both Radio Shack and Walmart in Antigo. She danced with the Country Time Cloggers, enjoyed walks on the boardwalk and loved gardening. Survivors include three children, Mike (Lynn) Frank of Tomahawk, Tammy Frank of Antigo and Nona (Joe) Steckbauer of Fond du Lac; step-daughter, Linda Curry of Green Bay; step-son, Jack Boers, Jr. of Florida; five grandchildren, Rebecca (Jeff ) Frank of Red Granite, Shalynn Frank of Fond du Lac, Derek Steckbauer of Fond du Lac, Courtney Frank of Tomahawk, and Shawana DeHart of Green Bay; 13 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Dar...[more]

Lannewehr of Milwaukee. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Troy DeHart; two grandchildren, Kevin and Kayla Frank; and a sister, Gail Wineburner.
