Our Lady of Fatima 4-H and a proud member of the Native Sons of the Golden West, the Los Banos Sportsmen's Club, and the Golden Agers. In retirement, Dan found his greatest joy in spending time with his grandchildren. He never missed a game, a performance, or an opportunity to offer his unwavering support and encouragement. A true outdoorsman, Dan loved fishing, hunting, barbecuing, smoking ribs, making Portuguese beans, and tending his garden. Each summer, family and friends eagerly awaited the "Famous Ramos" watermelons, along with his tomatoes and peppers. He is survived by his loving wife, Maryann; his sons and daughters-in-laws, Danny and Erica Ramos, and Christopher and Anne Ramos; and his six treasured grandchildren: Cole, Eric, Dylan, Dakota, Danica, and Arlo Ramos. He is also survived by his sister, Diane Oddo, and her husband, Tim Natsues. Dan leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews, brothers- and sisters-in-law, dear friends, and his beloved dog, Buster. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louie and Mary Ramos, and his brother, Louie Ramos Jr. Dan's legacy is one of love, laughter, hard work, and a deep connection to family and his community. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. A rosary and funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Los Banos, California.
