Linda Kay Traywick

Linda Kay Traywick, 70, passed away on January 8, 2026, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo, Iowa, surrounded by her family. She was born on December 11, 1955, to Lawrence and Marie (Franzen) Bruening. Linda attended St. Mary’s Catholic School and New Hampton Community Schools, where she participated in various clubs and excelled academically. In November 1980, Linda married Ronnie D. Traywick Sr. The couple made their home in Waterloo, Iowa, where Linda spent the majority of her life. Linda is survived by her husband, Ronnie D. Traywick Sr., and her two children, Ronnie D. Traywick Jr. and Anna Traywick. She is also survived by her siblings: Leona Bruening Schilling; Larry Bruening (Pat); Mark Bruening (Judy); and Janet Bruening Senner (Ronnie). She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Marie (Franzen) Bruening, and her siblings: Louise Bruening; Lawrence Bruening Jr.; Arline Bruening; Madeline Bruening Colvin; Phyllis Bruening; Rose Mary Bruening; JoAnn Bruening; Mary Lou Bruening; Johnny Bruening; and Paul Bruening.
