Margaret "Muggy" Lenore Redding

Margaret Lenore Redding was born on February 18, 1920 in Hanska, Minnesota to Gilbert and Emma (Brudelie) Vee. She was baptized and confirmed at the Hanska Lutheran Church in Hanska. Margaret received her education from Hanska Public School and graduated in the Class of 1938. She then went on to beautician school in Minneapolis. On August 3, 1941, Margaret was united in marriage to Robert Ellis Redding. This marriage was blessed with seven children, Vee, Kay, Jon, Lyn, Beth, Brian, and Mark. Margaret and Robert lived in Minneapolis, Brookings, and Windom after their marriage and later moving to Bingham Lake. When their marriage was subsequently, dissolved, Margaret continued living in Bingham Lake where she took great care of her children and enjoyed being a Mom. In 1976, she moved to Windom where she lived until a massive stroke ended her life. Margaret was a charter member of the Eagle's Club, Sons of Norway in Hanska and Windom, and the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed bowling, dancing, sewing, art, and cribbage, but most of all loved her family. She is survived by her children, Vee Redding and his wife, Romayne, of Ocala, FL; Kay Redding and her special friend, Jack Nordby, of Plymouth, MN; Lyn Redding and his special friend, Marilyn Coulter, of Eden Prairie, MN; Beth Weber and her husband, Dan, of Sioux Falls, SD; and Brian Redding and his special friend, Deb Vollen, of Windom, MN. She is survived by seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Grace Redding of Los Angeles, CA and Francie Norton of Palos Verdes Estates, CA; and several nieces and nephews. Margaret is preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Jon Alan Redding and Mark Andrew Redding; three brothers, Lloyd, Obrean, and Rupert Vee; and two sisters, Elva Englin and Verona Grey. Blessed be the memory of Margaret "Muggy" Redding.
