Charles Guhl

Charles D. Guhl, 83, Green Bay, died Saturday, February 19th, 2005, at a local nursing home. He was born July 26, 1921, to the late Charles H. and Mary (Bochanyin) Guhl in Milan, WI. He served his country in the United States Army from 1941 to 1945. He had served in Pearl Harbor. On September 23, 1945, he married Virginia Patterson in Milwaukee. Charles had been employed with the Green Bay Public Schools as a painter, retiring in 1985. Survivors include his wife, Virginia; his five children and their spouses, Michele (John) VanGheem, DePere; Rosie (Perry) Sylvester, Crivitz; Kevin (Diane) Guhl, Green Bay; Shaun (Bonnie) Guhl, Little Chute; and Danielle (John) Milkint, Virginia Beach, VA; nine grandchildren, John (Kristi) VanGheem; Jeremy VanGheem; Sandra (Mark) Wishard; Christine (Steve) Phillips; Jason Guhl; Martin Guhl; Deanna Guhl; Alexander and Benjamin Milkint; one great-grandson, Zachariah VanGheem; one sister, Viola Henderson, Kenosha; one brother, Bobbie Guhl, Boston, Massachusetts; one former daughter-in-law, Debra Guhl, TN; dear friends next door, Wayne (Judy) Walters.
