Frances Owen

Mrs. Owen (Frances) Owen, 88, Green Bay, died Friday, October 21, 2005, at a local nursing home. She was born November 29, 1916, to the late Frank and Anna (Wimmer) Murray in Wausaukee, Wisconsin. On March 16, 1940, she married Owen L. Owen; he preceded her in death January 8, 1982. Frances was a member of the Martha Washington Chapter #124 Order of the Eastern Star and a member of the First Presbyterian Hobby Group. She enjoyed playing bridge. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Judy Owen, Green Bay; one daughter and son-in-law, Jeanne and George Aimes, Denver, Colorado; four grandchildren, Matthew (Dayna) Aimes, Kristin (Mike) Horney, Jennifer (Rob) Walla; and Kate Owen and her fianc?, Jim Heisler; and four great-grandchildren, Hannah and Kevin Aimes and Elizabeth and Abigail Walla. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, John Murray and one sister, Belle Kowalke. Friends may call after 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 25, at First Presbyterian Church, 200 S. Ashland Street, where the funeral service will take place at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev. Ted Tromble officiating.
