Mrs. Erwin (Joyce) Prust 96, Green Bay, died Saturday evening April 24, 2004 at a local nursing home. She was born in Hermansville, MI on November 11, 1907 to the late Charles and Elizabeth (Plier) Hundertmark. Joyce was a 1928 graduate of Bellin College of Nursing. In November 1928, she married Erwin Prust and the couple shared almost 43 years together. Erwin preceded her in death in November 1971. She was a life and over 50 year member of Martha Washington Chapter #124, Order of Eastern Star, an active member of the Green Bay Shrine Club Auxiliary, Bellin College of Nursing Alumni Association and St. Paul's United Methodist Church. Joyce worked at Bellin Hospital as a nurse. She briefly worked with her husband at Alwin Manufacturing Company before raising her family. She returned to nursing during WWII. After the war, she volunteered many years for the Red Cross blood bank as a nurse. , Colin; son, Michael (Irma) and their son Rudy; daughter, Mary Ann Hitz (Jim Hitz) and their daughter Melissa and son, Joshua; son, James (Deborah) and their daughters, Christina and Jennifer; and son, Thomas (Nannette) and their sons, David and Eric; one sister Irene Aegerter, Waukesha; many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and her husband, Joyce was preceded in death by her daughter, Phyllis Foral, an infant son, Richard, her sister Berwyn Hundertmark, her brother, William Hundertmark, and an infant grandson, Timothy Foral. Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, April 29, at Lyndahl Funeral Home, Lombardi Ave., at Ridge Road. An Eastern Star Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Visitation will continue Friday after 10:00 A.M. at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 341 Wilson Street, where the funeral service will take place at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev. Ray Kotwicki officiating. Burial will be at Ft. Howard Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for Bellin College of Nursing and St. Paul's United Methodist Church. The family would like to thank the warm and caring staff at Santa Maria Nursing Home and Bishop's Court for Joyce's recent care.
