Warren J. ?Big C? Herman, 74, Green Bay, died Wednesday, September 15, 2004, at a local hospital. He was born November 24, 1929, to the late Ed and Joan (Braem) Herman in Green Bay. On May 13, 1950, he married Elsie Mae Renard at Grace Presbyterian Church in Green Bay. He had been employed at Milprint for 44 years, retiring in 1992. Warren served as president of the UPIU Local #1203 for many years. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, hunting and was an avid Packer and Cub fan. Survivors include his wife, Elsie; six sons and one daughter and their spouses, Jim Herman; Jerry and Luanne Herman; Jeff and Susie Herman; Judy and Bob Schaetz; Joe and Debbie Herman, all of Green Bay; Bob Herman, Oconto; and Doug and Christy Herman, Green Bay; 13 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; one sister, Helen Herwald, Green Bay; his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and his walking companion, Shadow. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Lloyd. Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday, September 17, at Lyndahl Funeral Home, Lombardi Ave. at Ridge Rd. Cardinal Lane, Howard, where the funeral service will take place at 10:00 with the Rev. Leonard P. Buelow officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. The Herman family wishes to express their gratitude to Dr. Kevin Sandmire, Dr. Thomas Farley, Dr. David Manke and the ICU nurses at St. Mary's Hospital, Marilyn, Danny and Erin for their care of ?Big C? during his illness.
