Craig LoCascio

Craig T. LoCascio, 56 of Green Bay, joined the Lord on January 29, 2006 after a long battle with cancer. Son of the late Sal and Betty LoCascio, Craig is survived by his two daughters Nicole and Beth Ann, five brothers, David (Kyle), Guy (Bonnie), Mark (Gina), Paul (Dawn), and Todd, his Godson Nathan LoCascio, and special cousins Roberta Wouters, and John Cannizaro. He will also be missed by the Corcoran family: Susan (Norm) Trailer, Patsy (Bill) Konkol, Barbara (Tom) Phillis, Maribeth Corcoran, John (Maggie) Corcoran, Karen (Ray) Brake, and Tom (Anne) Corcoran, as well as many nieces and nephews and countless friends. Craig was preceded in death by his lifelong love and wife of 26 years Carol (Corcoran), who passed away in 2001. Craig, a 1967 graduate of Premontre High School, studied civil engineering at NWTC, and enjoyed a challenging career with Ayres Associates and Wilbur Smith Associates inspecting bridges, buildings and major roadways. A strong supporter of architectural beauty and integrity, he enjoyed volunteering at Heritage Hill State Park. Craig was a gentle soul who enjoyed working with his hands, be it home repairs for friends and family, model trains, planes and shipbuilding, rug-hooking and woodworking. Craig received great joy being with family and friends, spending time on the waters of Green Bay, shooting at the rifle range and fishing. We will remember Craig for his beautiful inquisitiveness, his generosity, a man who enjoyed giving, a brother who taught us love and laughter, and a father who has shown his girls the strength of God's grace in the face of despair. Craig has left each one of us with the gift of a sweet memory, a warm hug, or a gentle smile. His best friend Peter Moran will remember weekend mornings at the gun show with the big guy, his brother Paul will remember trips in the car as a young boy. Bonnie will remember being the favorite sister-in-law. His girls will remember their nicknames that Craig spoke so often. Nicole will remember the days lying on the living room floor watching movies, and for Nathan, it will be his memory of how deeply proud Craig was of him.
