e served on the church council and as president of the congregation. Harry was a member of the Brown County Arena Commission (member, Citizens Committee); a member of the Board of Directors of the Kellogg Public Library; a member and secretary of the Green Bay Zoning Board of Appeals; a member and president of the Brown County Condemnation Commission; founding president and chairman of the board of Bay Area Lutheran Homes during the planning and construction of the original nursing home and Woodside Oaks Apartments; and a member of the corporate board of Bellin Memorial Hospital. Harry was very proud of his Norwegian heritage. He valued his family trips to Norway and his many relatives who continue to live there. He was a member of the local chapter of the Sons of Norway and the Numendal Lag. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Doris; his children and their spouses, Sandra Jean and John Rasmussen, Naples, FL; Thomas Lars and Joan Olson, Green Bay; Debra Kay and Gary Hendricks, Suamico; and Jeffrey Scott Olson, Atlanta, GA; 12 grandchildren, Paul Rasmussen, Suzanne Rasmussen, Timothy Olson, Daniel Olson, Kristin Olson, Stephanie Olson, Jenny Hendricks, Carrie Hendricks, Meghan Olson, Ashley Olson, Savannah Olson and Dane Olson; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Telmer and May Olson, Monona, Iowa and Milton and Donna Mae Olson, Postville, Iowa; and one sister and one sister-in-law, Selina Embretson, Farmersburg, Iowa and Dolores Olson, Postville, Iowa; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother Olvin and a brother-in-law, Lorando. Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, May 11, at Lyndahl Funeral Home. Visitation will continue after 10:00 A.M. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 330 South Broadway, where the funeral service will take place at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev. Michael Baucom officiating.
