Bernice Crabb

Mrs. John (Bernice) Crabb, 95, Green Bay, died Monday, May 29, 2006, at a local hospital. She was born April 24, 1911, to the late John and Julia (Roderick) Gritt in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Bernice married John H. Crabb in 1937 in Green Bay; he preceded her in death October 15, 2003. She had taught primary grades in the Green Bay area for over 20 years. Bernice enjoyed playing cards, was a member of two card clubs, loved walking and was an avid Packer fan. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, John and Jerilyn Crabb, Green Bay; one daughter, Sharon Crabb and special friend, Tom Terp, Green Bay; three grandchildren, Brent (Peggy) Crabb, Terilyn Crabb and Maureen Trafford, all of Green Bay; two great-grandchildren, Tiffany and Max; one great-great-grandson, Jesse; three sisters-in-law, Esther Gritt, Jean Gritt, and Vera Gritt; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and her husband, John, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Ann Sagle, Edward Gritt, John Gritt, Chester Gritt, Margie Stamps and Leo Gritt.
