Lorraine Beno

Lorraine M. Beno, 93, Green Bay, died Wednesday, August 23, 2006, at home. She was born July 3, 1913 in Green Bay to the late George and Ida Doyen. On October 15, 1930, she married Norris Beno; he preceded her in death August 12, 1993. Lorraine enjoyed spending time with her family, especially when she could cook or bake for them. She loved to play cards, bingo, and working with her flowers in the garden. Earlier in her life she enjoyed square dancing, traveling and bowling. Lorraine was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters and also the St. Jude Ladies Club. Survivors include one daughter, Elizabeth Biersteker; one son, Ronald Beno; six grandchildren, Diane Biersteker and husband Tom Erler, Little Suamico; Sue (Gerald) Mattice, Wautoma; Mike (Carol) Beno, Presque Isle; Lisa (Dan) Hanson, De Pere; Rick Beno, Green Bay; and Kathy Beno, Green Bay; 11 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
