Charles H. Bero, Jr., age 62, of Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin, died unexpectedly on Saturday, April 2l, 2007 at Bellin Hospital. He was born September 18, 1944 in Green Bay, Wisconsin to Charles H. Bero Sr. and Florence Martell. He married Carolyn Leurquin on October 15, 1966 in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Chuck was most recently employed by Murphy Development and formerly by Diana Manufacturing for 33 years. Chuck loved spending time with family and friends at his cottage in Silver Cliff. He was proud to be called ?Papa? and cherished his times spent with grandchildren, planting his garden, rocking in his rocking chair, watching the Green Bay Packers and relaxing by the fire. He also enjoyed going out for breakfast with his friends from work. Above all, Chuck's wife, daughters and grandchildren were the loves of his life. He is survived by his wife Carol of 40 years; Carrie (Rusty) Johnson, Alyssa, Miranda, and Mason of Lake Village, Arkansas; Kelly (Jim) Vander Linden, Connor, Kaitlyn and Evan of Bellevue; Tracy (Chris) Elliott, Lauren, Megan and Carson of De Pere; Brenda (James) Trudell, Savannah and Dalton of De Pere. letus (Pat), Jerry (Jan), Bill (Marge), Shirley (Charlie) Drace, Jim (Mitzi), Gary (Sue), Vernon and Donna Van Egran; his mother-in-law, Rita Leurquin; three brothers-in-law, Al (Alice) Leurquin, Brian (ArLena) Leurquin and John (Tammy) Leurquin; and one sister-in-law, Lori (Andy) Kurowski. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Anita Gore; his father-in-law, Norman Leurquin; a brother-in-law, Don Van Egran; and a sister-in-law, Betty Bero. Friends and family may call at Lyndahl Funeral Home from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 24, where a parish wake service will take place at 6:00 P.M. Visitation will continue after 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 2270 South Oneida Street, where the Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev. Dennis Bergsbaken officiating. Entombment will be in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum. The family wishes to express a special thank you to the Ashwaubenom EMS services and the emergency staff and pastoral care staff at Bellin Hospital for their kindness and support during this difficult time.
