Leonard "Lenny" Jankowski

Leonard (Lenny) B. Jankowski, 72, Ashwaubenon, died Friday, October 12, 2007, at home. He was born April 20, 1935, to the late Anthony and Katherine (Nalepa) Jankowski in Chicago, Illinois. He served his country in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was stationed in Japan. Lenny was an employee of the U. S. Postal Service in Milwaukee and Green Bay for 32 years. During that time, he also founded and owned Northern Inventory Service. He enjoyed ATVing and relaxing on his land in Crivitz. Lenny also loved cutting wood and deer hunting. Dorithe Mae and Lenny loved to square dance in Marinette. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, the former Dorithe Mae Zibell; two children, Anthony Jankowski, Neenah and LeAnn Jankowski, De Pere; two sisters, Mary Ives, Peoria, Illinois and Stella Jaworski, Crivitz. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Diana Marie. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Kidney Foundation.
