Marjorie Schubring

Mrs. Ralph (Marjorie) Schubring, 84, Appleton, died Monday, January 7, 2008. She was born October 10, 1923 to the late Frank and Mary (Bero) De Decker in Appleton, Wisconsin. On July 5, 1943, she married Ralph Schubring in Kaukauna; he preceded her in death February 11, 2003. Marjorie was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, the ladies aid altar committee and was active in the missionary league. Survivors include three daughters, Carol Pete, Rockford, Illinois; Janet (Jerry) O'Keefe, Tennessee; and Jo Anne (Dave) Vannieuwenhoven, Hilbert; one son, Richard Schubring, Athelstine; 11 grandchildren, Scott (Dawn) Mayer; Paula (Ken) Behr; Sara (Tyrone) Francis; Steve (Jackie) Schubring; Debbie Schubring; Jeff (Lori) O'Keefe; Greg (Pat) O'Keef; Matt O'Keefe; Rev. Charles (Amy) Vannieuwenhoven; Ellen (Steve) Hennig and Brian (Amanda) Vannieuwenhoven; 19 great-grandchildren; and 1 sister, Verne Pleshek, Appleton. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, John; and four brothers, Walter, Clarence, Francis and Donald. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M.
