Ralph R. Sheldon, 96, Green Bay, avid sportsman and conservationist, died Monday, March 10, 2008. He was born September 10, 1911, to the late Floyd O. and Maude (Town) Sheldon in New London, Wisconsin. On June 22, 1935, he married Ethel Toll Kelley; she preceded him in death in October of 1964. He married Alice Bader in 1969. Ralph was employed for over 40 years by Green Bay Food as a vinegar maker. He enjoyed trout fishing, dog training and upland game hunting.
Survivors include his wife, Alice; one son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Donna Sheldon, Iron River, Michigan; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sally and Tom Wysocki, Freedom; and Terry and Gene Peruzzi, Green Bay; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Eileen (Erv) Mittelstaedt.
In addition to his parents and his first wife, Ethel, he was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Friends may call after 12 noon on Thursday, March 13, at Lyndahl Funeral Home where a Masonic Service conducted by the Washington Lodge #21 Free and Accepted Masons followed by the funeral service will take place at 1:30 P.M. with the Rev.
