Gisele "Gigi" Baker

Gisele (Gigi) Baker, 49, Denmark, passed away December 17, 2008 after a short battle with cancer. She was born to Adele (Gondek) and the late Frank Baker Jr. in Stambaugh, Michigan. She attended West Iron County High School in Iron River, Michigan. Gigi had been employed at the Carlton and Backgammon and later owned Gigi's Food & Spirits. Most recently she was the day manager at The Goal Post. Gigi was a beautiful, kind person who touched many lives with her volunteer work and her generosity towards others. Gigi enjoyed cooking, gardening and spending time with her family, her fiance and her cats. Survivors include her fiance, Ken Wiese; her mother, Adele Baker; four sisters, Marquette Baker, Denise (Darrell) Johnson, Renee (Dan) Greig and Claudene (Dave) Tomlinson; one brother, Frank Baker; six nephews, Brendan, Colin, Taylor, Noah, Austin and Isaac; two nieces, Ashley and Aubrey. She was preceded in death by her father.
