and riding his John Deere tractors. He loved the beauty of nature and the sense of relaxation that being out in the country brought him. Another passion in David’s life was traveling with his family, especially the trips they took to Key West, Florida. Each morning for about the past 20 years you could also find David at the Bay Motel Restaurant where he enjoyed coffee and visiting with many of his friends. David was a very fun-loving person and was well-liked by all those fortunate enough to know him. He was the type of person who would spark up a conversation with anyone and was always willing to go out of his way to help anyone out. He will be greatly missed. Survivors include his wife of thirty-nine years, Patti; two sons, Kyle White and Daniel White, Green Bay; one daughter, Anne White, Green Bay; three sisters, Virginia (Don) Roeder, Oshkosh; Mary Ellen Krueger, Oshkosh; Helen (Ken) Joos, Fort Atkinson; he is further survived by one niece, five nephew, and a very special friend Robert Jones, Pickett. He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Edna White, his mother-in-law, Eleanor Ward, and his father-in-law, Lawrence Ward. A private Graveside Service for David will be held at Zoar Cemetery, just outside of Oshkosh, on Thursday, April 9, 2009 at 2:00 pm with Chaplain Brad McIntyre officiating. The family would like to thank the staff at Southern Care Hospice for their kindness and help, Dr. Mary Sauvey of Green Bay and Dr. Daniel Mulkerin and his staff at UW Hospitals In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up.
