Gwendolyn Stolberg

Gwendolyn F. Stolberg, 91, Green Bay, died Wednesday, November 18, 2009, at a local nursing home. She was born May 12, 1918 to the late Fred and Alma (Gilbert) Jenkins in Iron Mountain, Michigan. Gwendolyn attended Green Bay Badger Business College and was employed by Bay West Paper Company. On August 29, 1940, she married Eric Stolberg in Iron Mountain, Michigan; he preceded her in death on December 12, 1994. She was an avid homemaker. For many years, Gwendolyn was an active member of Bethany United Methodist Church where she was a coordinator of the Sunday School and participated in many of the church groups. Survivors include one son, John (Cindi) Stolberg, Green Bay; one daughter, Janet (Don) Landwehr, Crivitz; four grandchildren, Joshua and Christopher Stolberg, Daniel (Gina) Landwehr and Sally (Tim) Corrigan; four great-grandchildren, Kole and Kaitie Landwehr and Megan and Eric Corrigan; one brother, Roy (Pat) Jenkins; and many other relatives and friends.
