Barbara Sears

Barbara M. Sears, of Oconto Falls, formerly of Green Bay, age 76, died at Unity Hospice Wednesday, November 25, 2009. She was born on February 22, 1933 to Edward and Gladys (Pelkin) Moes in Green Bay. She graduated from the local schools and married Wendell Sears in Green Bay in 1958. She worked as a caregiver for the disabled as well as being a homemaker. She was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church in Green Bay and the Tuesday Tatting Group. Barbara is survived by one brother Donald Moes of Oconto Falls and one sister Marilyn (Garth) Seehawer of Oconto Falls. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and her friends in the Tuesday Tatting Group. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband. Friends may call after 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 28, 2009 at the Lyndahl Funeral Home, where a funeral service with Rev. Lori Swenson to officiate will take place at 3:00 PM.
