Jacqueline J. Roseberry, age 76, of De Pere, died on Sunday, December 27, 2009. She was born on September 23, 1933 in De Pere to the late John and Gladys (Monroe) Clarke. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in teaching from St. Norbert College. On June 21, 1958, she married Thomas Roseberry at St. Francis Catholic Church in De Pere. She taught elementary school before having children and later returned as a substitute teacher for the Ashwaubenon and Green Bay school districts. Jacqueline was an active member of Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, where she was a member of the adult choir and Women's Guild, and served in the clown ministry. She enjoyed making crafts, especially for the church, and baking. Card club on Monday was an important part of her life. Jacqueline was always upbeat and her love for her husband, children and grandchildren was always evident. Her strong faith and love of life led her to live a meaningful and exemplary life. Elizabeth Roseberry, Chad and Zackary Sloden, Justin and Karissa Roseberry; one sister and three brothers-in-law: Jean and Frank Kirschbraun, Don Marcouiller, and Bill Cuene; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters: Adris Marcouiller and Katherine "Sis" Cuene. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday, Jan. 1, 2010, at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 2270 S. Oneida St., where a parish wake service will take place at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will continue after 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Benjamin Sember officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, De Pere. In lieu of other forms of expressions of sympathy a memorial fund has been established.
