Francis D. Piontek, Green Bay, died Monday, May 3, 2010, at his residence. He was born on July 13, 1943 to Theodore and Mayme (Granchalek) Piontek. Francis served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include two brothers and two sisters, Kathy Janus; Jack Piontek; Ken (Sherry) Piontek and Pat (Roger) Kieltyka; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and family.
In addition to his parents, Francis was preceded in death by two brothers, Theodore Jr. and Michael; sister-in-law, Shirley Piontek and brother-in-law, Dick Janus.
Friends may call after 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 7, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1224 12th Avenue, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Donald Everts officiating, with full military honors to follow. Interment will take place at Fort Howard Memorial Park. Online condolences may be expressed at www.lyndahl.com.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Francis� name.
