Nelsen Hansen

Nelsen M. Hansen, 94, of Suamico, passed away at St. Mary�s Hospital on Thursday August 26, 2010. He was born on June 2, 1916 to the late Nels and Ingreberg (Moos) Hansen in Suamico. On March 28, 1942, Nelsen married the former Edna Jensen and they lived and worked on the family farm. They were married 68 years. Nelsen served as treasurer of the Suamico Cemetery Association for many years. He was a member of the Suamico United Methodist Church and the Washington Lodge #21, Free and Accepted Masons. Nelsen will be sadly missed by his wife Edna; three children and their spouses: Karen and Allen Peterson of Union Grove, Allen and Mary Hansen of Suamico, and Sandy and Darrel Pagel of Little Suamico; nine grandchildren: Erick (Lisa) Peterson, Sarah Peterson, Karl (Jennifer) Hansen, Debra (Jeremy) Roemer, Julie (Kevin) Burmeister, Lori (Brad) Luepke, Lisa (Rob) Shallow, Lana (Luke) Vandervest, and Lois (Justin) Ullmer; and two sisters-in-law: Elaine Hansen and Florence Anderson. Friends may call after 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 30, 2010 at Suamico United Methodist Church (3266 Lakeview Dr. Suamico) until time of funeral services at 12:00 p.m. with the Rev.
