Betty "Jean" Rollman

Betty affectionately called "Jean" Rollman, 90, Green Bay, passed away on Monday, September 13, 2010. She was born on November 8, 1919 in Marquette, Michigan to the late Clarke and Margaret (Dumond) Haire. She married Charles W. Rollman on December 8, 1942 at Camp Phillips in Kansas. Jean was a teacher in Painesdale and Walloon Lake, Michigan from 1938 to 1942. She enjoyed reading, sewing, knitting and baking. Jean taught nutrition to private individuals through the University Extension office. She was active with St. Paul's United Methodist Church and served as past president of the United Methodist Women. Jean was a caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by her husband, Charles of Green Bay; two sons, Charles (Patricia) Rollman, Jr. of Appleton, Clarke (Reyne) Rollman of Kenosha; three daughters, Margaret Rollman and special friend, Dennis Fritz of Green Bay, Jennifer (Bob) Forrest of Suring and Mary (John) Gruber of Crandon; 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren a sister-in-law, Betty Ann (Carl) Manthy and Esther Haire. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am at the church with the Reverend Diane Rew officiating. Memorials to St. Paul's United Methodist Church would be appreciated.
