Robert King

Robert H. King Sr., 89, Green Bay, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2010, at Harmony Living Center. He was born July 19, 1921 in Fond du Lac, to the late Emmett and Mary (Mertz) King. He served his country in the United States Army Air Corps Force. He married the former Jeanne Seitz. She preceded him in death on May 14, 2008 after 56 years of marriage. Robert had been employed at Church Hill Chemical Co. and later as a custodian at St. John’s the Evangelist Church in Green Bay. Robert is survived by seven children and their families: Robert H. Robert is survived by his brother, Kenneth and wife, Irene; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents and wife, Jeanne, Robert was preceded in death by his daughters, Joan Frances King and Jeanne Mary King Berlin. Friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, September 23 at Lyndahl Funeral Home where a funeral service will take place at 7:00 p.m. with full military honors to follow. Entombment will take place in Allouez Chapel Mausoleum. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund has been established in Robert’s name.
