Marie Wilson

Marie (Zemblowski) Wilson, 98, Green Bay, died Saturday, October 16, 2010 at a local hospital. She was born June 4, 1912 to the late Cyprian and Mary (Rudzinski) Zemblowski in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. On January 18, 1985, she married Harold M. Wilson at St. Paul’s Methodist Church in Green Bay. Marie was an avid reader and traveler, having traveled throughout the world. She was employed by Fort Howard Paper Company for over 40 years. Survivors include her husband, Harold Wilson; her children, Cindi (John) Desmelyk and Keith (Debbie) Wilson, both of Green Bay; five grandchildren, Erin (Bill) Foster, Belgium, WI; Jesse Wilson, Green Bay; Adam (Kim) Wilson, Merrill, WI; Travis Schreiber, Green Bay; and Melissa (Nathan) Zschaechner, Clintonville; six great-grandchildren; her siblings, Frances Krieser, San Diego, Ca; Vicky Loberger, Appleton. WI; Lilly Loberger, Brillion, WI; Cyprian (Katie) Zemblowski, Appleton. Friends may call from 4 to 7 pm Tuesday, October 19, at Lyndahl Funeral Home where a parish wake service will take place at 6:30 pm. Visitation will continue after 10 am Wednesday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2597 Glendale Avenue, Village of Howard, where the Mass of Christian Burial will be at held at 11 am with the Rev. John Bergstadt officiating. Burial will be at St. Anthony Cemetery, Oconto Falls. A memorial fund has been established for the Bay Area Humane Society and Animal Shelter in Marie’s name. The family would like to express a special thank you to the entire staff at Harmony Living for their loving care given to Marie.
