George H. Farley 77, Ashwaubenon, died Monday, February 21, 2011 on PresidentÃÆ'¢ï¿½ï¿½s Day. He was born July 28, 1933 to the late George N. and Ethel (Maves) Farley in Hermansville, Michigan. George served his country in the U. S. Marines from 1952 to 1955. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. On April 7, 1956, he married Eva M. Maga in Hermansville. He was employed by Georgia Pacific for 16 years, retired after 27 years of employment at Nabisco and enjoyed his part-time job at Avis Car Rental at the airport. He enjoyed softball, gardening, hunting at deer camp, Packers, including attending the Ice Bowl, bocce and was a Bellin runner for 14 years. He was the best ravioli and meatball maker and enjoyed his winters spent in Florida. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Eva; his children, Kevin (Vicki) Farley and their children Patrick, Kate and Ross, Andrea (John) Sinkler and Jenna (Dave) Rutowski; Alan (Pam) Farley and their children, Jenny (Brian) Beck, Sheila and fianc'e, Tyler Luedke, Colleen and Thomas; Patty Farley and Terry Bridges and their children, ...[more]

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jim and a brother-in-law, Paul Lebeouf. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 24, at Lyndahl Funeral Home where a parish wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue after 10 a.m. Friday at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 2770 South Oneida Street, where the Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 a.m. with the Rev. John J. Becker presiding. Full military honors will follow. Entombment will be at the Allouez Chapel Mausoleum. Online condolences may be expressed at www.lyndahl.com.
